Judging by the number of posts put up, you can guess that I'm free-er today. Yesh! Today's the only free day I have since like about a month ago... So what other better way to spend it than to surf the net and catch up on a lot of entertainment news. I mean, I have been online every night in the past but it was more for research and work. At most, I'll only be checking out auctions and latest news in my boys. Apart from that, I don't have the eye power and energy to watch any videos and download stuff. So, today, it was revenge time, looking up on recommended songs by friends and acquaintances. And one of the songs that strike me the most and I really like is JJ Lin's "The Killa". I mean, when my friend let me listen to the song in school, I was amazed and had wanted to listen to it properly but didn't have the time to. So, today, I listened, I even watched the MV (uncensored) and watched that 20-min mini movie on YouTube. I have to say, it's really morbid but I love it. Like really love it. I mean, it's freaky and all but it was done in good taste. I remember reading about how some Taiwanese broadcasting companies banned his MV because of the disturbing scenes and at most the censored certain scenes off. I didn't know what the hype was about but after seeing the MV, I can understand the hype. But really, to me, it's done artistically and I find it rather refreshing as compared to all the MVs that are made nowadays, which tend to use cliche storylines. All in all, I feel that more of such refreshing MVs should be made. Maybe not as morbid as this MV but at least create new storylines in order to attract more people.
