they relooked at my subjects and schedule.....

The Verdict is...

well, my probation is continued for another 6 months...so no confirmation and more observation...

we'll see how..

will just continue to work how i work and just make sure that my back is covered...

 

messaged my mom abt it and her msg..

when i read it, i wanted to cry and just go back and hug her..

she said

" I agreed with yr frnd ask 4 trnsfr if u can but u must think n look at every area carefully. rmbr we ever went thrgh hard time b4. u know yrslf better right. let us pray tgthr that evrythg will be ok. dont let this stupid thg dampnd yr spirit n everthg gone to the drain"

 

yep...i copied exactly what she wrote...

haha, for a mama, she's quite hip with the short forms...

but it's times like this i love mom even more...coz her words are really deep and it was really a heartfelt advice...

 

so for now, i'm gg to remain true to myself and make sure that no matter what, my personality is not taken by this whole saga.

 

for those who have wished me well, i really do appreciate your words and it has kept me strong throughout the experience...definitely in HER eyes, i'm blackmarked...but well, she can just go f*off...^_~

will be on hiatus

going thru a real rough patch of my life
right now,sppsdly am in deep shit..
but for me, i feel tt i am largely not at fault and that she really doesn't understand how i work and how i am as a person...
beginning to think that it's not worth it to be teaching in that school under that boss...
just seeing her makes me puke and the way she smiles after all that...
god  i just dun wan to see her face...
when it comes to such ppl, i am not a fighter...
coz i know it's not worth it..
i am a small fry while she is a giant lobster...
even if i do fail my confirmation and get transferred to another school..
you know what,i think i will be glad...
half of me wants to readily resign...
half of me holds back because i still want to teach...and i do adore the kids..
we had a confrontation yesterday with her ranting away and all and i just am like a teenager just brushing it off..
so...until i sort this out...i'll be on hiatus..
what my family thinks?
they say tt whatever decision i make, they will follow..
at least i know that my family knows me...

pfft...

RL: rant of a teacher

i thought marking 2 stacks of papers (3questions each) with each stack being about 40 scripts will be done in like 5 hours max...
my gawd...
was so wrong...
ended up spending 8-9 hrs, getting high blood pressure, was fuming away as i slash scripts and write comments...
SIMPLY BECAUSE THESE IDIOTS REFUSE TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE COVER PAGE

like seriously, there's a reason why we have instructions...
how do they not follow instructions

1) writing everything in pnecil (like seriously, din your pri sch teacher teach you the basic that writings in pencil= draft, not your answer and you do not get any marks?????)

2) writing all the questions in the same piece of paper. i know that we keep saying save the earth and dun waste paper. but this is NOT the time to do so. coz the reason why we say begin each question on a fresh piece of paper is so that it's easier for us to spot what questions you have done and because we split the diff questions among teachers for marking, we might actually split the papers so that one teacher can get the pile of the questions he is tasked to do...

3) doing ALL of the questions when you are only supposed to do 3. this one irks me a lot...you think that by doing all questions, we will mark all the questions and pick the best 3? FAT HOPE!!!! I have no time to do so? you think that we have a lot of time? like seriously! and since you have so much time, then check your answer!! seriously...sheesh!

By far, no one has successfully passed...those who have passed, it shows that they studied...the rest...very disappointing. can see that they did not study at all. bloody fuming mad at the quality of the answers. it leaves me wondering, is it the fault of the student or the teacher. luckily these students are not the ones i teach, if they are, i will be doubly mad. on monday, i will receive the scripts of the classes i teach. i have a feeling it will be the same in terms of the quality of answers.....it's just the batch...despite having a high aggregate, they are indeed very weak and not imaginative and creative. they are really the type that needs to be spoonfed EVERY single thing in order for them to get high marks. indeed, i worry for their future....

i need to rest...but have tons of papers to mark...
