it's funny how we are fated to be related

i bought ooku the manga (eng version) a few months ago coz I was intrigued by the plot..

imagine Japan have a strange disease that kills the men..
such that the population of men becomes so limited they become precious..
to the point that all the roles in society are reversed...
the men become the object of desire...
they are the 'prostitutes' at the red light district with women clamouring to them in order to get their dose and also the chance to get pregnant and have children..
women are the breadwinners and the 'men' in the families...
they are the leaders and the warriors
while the men who are the precious providers of life are carefully guarded

when i read this..
the male harem in the palace...my first thought...this is soooo JE..
i mean the cream of the crop of men being placed in the harem for the female shogun's pleasure.
kind of like how the 'cream of the crop' of males being chosen to ~~serve Uncle Johnny..~~serve the desires of the females all over the world

and to think now, Nino is going to act in this..
haha, talk about fate...

in a way, Nino suits the role..
because of the look of innocence and 'enthusiasm' that he can show
i have no doubts about Nino's acting ability..
but this story..
it's really challenging..
i read it and halfway through i had to stop..coz i kind of got disturbed by the whole concept.
the character will def have a variety of emotions that Nino has to project effectively in order to make this movie a success
because the relationships in the story...
it's really complex...

so Nino..ganbatte!
I will try my best not to pick on you when I watch your movie..
and compare..
that I promise..

on other note...
most of them are done!!
